Game Rules Complete
Through an extensive process of collaboration through email and sit-down meetings the Associates of CIYSA have revised the rules of our game for the 2015 season and moving forward. The main purpose for this venture was to set the documentation in an electronic form that was more readily accessible as a reference point for governing purposes. A secondary reason for the effort was our rules had been relatively untouched for over a decade, and there had recently been some contested issues over interpretation. Additionally, through the process several amendments were made and can be found therein.
CIYSA rules are an extension of our core set, the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) handbook, which comprehensively details the majority of our guidelines. The NFHS handbook is easily accessible online through electronic media at their site - nfhs.com. The purchase price for the newest, 2014-2015, publication was $5.99. I will not be posting this manual because it is "expressly prohibited" to republicate on the internet. There are sites that have illegal links to this which I don't condone; a lot of volunteers devote a lot of time to the maintenance and timely upkeep of this source and it shouldn't be freely shared.

I am always soliciting ideas to make this site more dynamic and attractive for the audience. Please contact me with any information, pictures, stories, etc that would be relevant to the area soccer scene.
